Invasion From the (Mid)west!
Itinerary
Day One: Touchdown
This one will be hard to pin down, until I know exactly when they land. So far the plan is that this day ends at Left Left in the Subaru.
- pick them up from the airport and give them a big smooch
- take them to get something to eat, dealer's choice.
- show them around town/tour of the house (lol)
- depending on time/scheduling, plan a dinner with either the family or the friends
- drive up to left left, stopping at the country store, set up camp, attack each other like wild animals
packing list for car camping
- pajamas
- bottle of bourbon
- change of clothes
- bedding
- firewood
- camp chairs
- cooler & food
- smores stuff
- hatchet/knife for whittling

Day Two/Three/Four
The next few days are interchangeable, depending on when I can make plans with my friends. For now though, lets assume day two is Portland day, because I'd rather be in Portland on a Friday than a Saturday or Sunday. This means I have to plan things to show them, in Portland. What the hell to show an out of towner?!
- Germantown/Skyline for sure
- Ground Kontrol (take the light rail)
- Uwajimaya/Asian market
- Lunch at Little Big Burger, next to Legion. Get Salt & Straw if that location still exists.
- Powell's
- Dinner at The 1905
Day Two/Three/Four
The next of the three interchangeable days will be spent driving to the beach. I'm thinking Tillamook, which obviously means the Cheese Factory will be visited. But for sheer wow factor, we might see Cape Disappointment, because when I visited them, they did take me to see a rather spectacular light house....
Day Two/Three/Four
The final of the three interchangeable days will be spent up Mt St. Helens, Hopefully camping out overnight, along with some pals. We'll be car camping again. This however depends on when they fly out to visit, because the forest service road I camp on is often closed in the spring time. In that case. We'll go up to Sunset Falls. There's a place up there shrouded in misery that I'd like to shed some light on. <3
The Final Day
By this point, I suspect we will be completely exhausted, so we'll spend this one close to home. If we didn't go to Sunset Falls already, we'll go up there just to share a kiss and enjoy the view. If we have, we may go for a drive, or to save on gas, just stay home and kiss for a while, and watch a movie or two, depending on when their flight leaves.
Then they'll leave, and I'll be counting down the days until The Big Move.
